Pork Curry for Dinner

Last Friday, my aunt and I went to the supermarket. I saw curry powder and decided to cook chicken curry. I love cooking and I super love chicken curry. But since our viand yesterday(lunch) was chicken, I changed my plan. I cooked pork curry instead of chicken curry. And it’s my first time to cook curry. I based the ingredients on the taste of curry I’d eaten before.
Here are the ingredients:
1 kl. pork
3 medium-sized potatoes(cube)
2 medium-sized carrots(cube)
1 red bell pepper
garlic
onion
curry powder
1 can evaporated milk(substitute for coco milk)
pepper
salt
Steps on how to cook pork curry:
1. In 4 cups of water, put the pork, salt and pepper and let it boil ’til the meat is tender.
2. Set aside the meat and put the vegetables (potatoes and carrots)in the boiling water.
3. Then on a separate pan, saute the garlic, onion and bell pepper.
4. Add the pork and fry it.
5. When it’s already golden brown, add the vegetables and water used in boiling the meat and vegetables.
6. Put the curry powder and add the evaporated milk.
7. Let it boil and add some seasonings. (In my case, I added more pepper.)
And here’s the finish product.

and look!!! My niece couldn’t wait to eat it!

According to them, the curry was really really good. And that what makes me happy, seeing someone enjoying the food I cook. :)
